What is mulch?
- Mulch is a product made of wood which can be derived from recycled trees. Tree limbs and other wood are ground up to make a shredded, environmentally friendly product called mulch.
What does Mulch do?
- conserves water in the soil
- suppresses weed growth
- retards heat unlike rock so it’s easier on plants, roses, etc
- decorative groundcover
- adds an interesting dimension to your lanscape
How much do I need?
- Recommended depth is a 3-4 inch layer of mulch
